Finnentrop, Eslohe, Schmallenberg and Lennestadt are the four main towns on the SauerlandRadring. The 40 km long HenneseeSchleife connects the SauerlandRadring via the picturesque Wennetal valley down to the Ruhrtal, the district town of Meschede and the Hennetalsperre dam. There is no fixed start and end point, you can "hop on" at any point - similar to the train.

The HenneseeSchleife is currently still signposted with the SauerlandRadring Nordschleife logo.

Some of the evidence of the railroad's past can still be seen along the route: in addition to old signal systems, buffer stops and wagons, you can also marvel at old steam locomotives. And as a special highlight, the famous Kückelheim "Fledermaustunnel" awaits cyclists.
