The 60 meter long 4-arched Eder bridge is today the best-preserved structure in the old Edertal and emerges from a water level of below 235.10 meters. It was built between 1887 and 1890 and is now a listed building. The village of Asel was blown up by imperial pioneers after it was cleared.
