Our local history association Dorf Dröschede is non-profit and non-commercial.
All activities of the members are carried out on a voluntary basis.
The association provides the facilities it has created and maintains all year round for the general public to use free of charge.
Of course, this does not work entirely without money. We need a few "coins" to keep the facilities and the "trappings" in good shape.
The most important source of income, apart from the membership fees paid by club members, is the revenue from renting out our barbecue huts.
You can celebrate there to your heart's content.
We cultivate the forest and the tradition of getting together!
By using the facilities created and maintained by our association for the purpose of getting together, we live and cultivate the local tradition.
We are in favor of togetherness and love nature, which we have everything here on site.
We also use the space available to us to hold appropriate events that follow the annual calendar, for example, or arise out of interest. Music events and the St. Martin's procession, for example, are just two of the many events that take place here.
In addition, we club members meet on site to work on the grounds or to "unwind" together.
Togetherness and nature are two of our main themes.
