The Ölmühle in Rönsahl was mentioned as early as 1804 and was rebuilt in the Bergisch style around 1900.
Ölmühle Rönsahl
Ölmühlerweg
58566 Kierspe
Already mentioned as an Ölmühle in 1804, the Rönsahl monument was rebuilt in 1900 as a two-storey building in the Bergisch style. The pond for fish farming dates back to 1907 and a water wheel with water supply was newly installed in 1982. It was originally used to drive a meat crusher for trout feed, a threshing machine and a washing machine. The water wheel also provided Rönsahl's first electricity supply. Unfortunately, the interior is no longer there.
As the mill is now used as a residential building, it is unfortunately not possible to visit the interior.
The Ölmühle in Rönsahl can also be discovered on the circular hike from the Wipper to the Lingesetalsperre dam. There is a hiking information board at the start and finish point, the historic distillery in Rönsahl.
