If you prefer to drive a few meters uphill for a spectacular sunset, you can drive up to the Hoher Knochen, one of the highest mountains in the region. Towards the west, the mountains here become increasingly flatter and you have a far-reaching view of the land of a thousand mountains from this sunny spot. The place is located on the access road to the top of the mountain. If you want to explore the view a little more on foot, you can continue on the Westfeld gold village route. You can relax and watch the setting sun and put your feet up on a forest sofa at the edge of the path.
